Effective from 1 March 2023, it is mandatory to provide your VAT / EORI number for all EU countries, Northern Ireland, Norway and Switzerland.
Failure to do so could result in your order being delayed and potential additional charges being imposed by your local customs office.
Impact of Brexit on EU deliveries
From January 2021, EU shipments are subject to import charges and taxes.
Charges applied to products ordered from outside the UK are the responsibility of the buyer. Marine Society is unable to assess or control these costs, which must remain your responsibility to pay.
Brexit has had an impact on delivery times, and there might be delays in EU orders.
Please note that orders to Europe and the Rest of the World may be delayed by customs.
We aim where possible to dispatch books three times a week. Shipping confirmation will be sent upon dispatch. Stock may not be immediately available, but we will keep in touch to let you know the estimated delivery time.
Any enquiries about delivery or possible returns should be addressed to the Marine Society Shop at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You should contact the Marine Society Shop directly for larger volume orders to receive our best quotes for shipping. If you would like to use an international courier, contact us directly by email to get a quote.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. However, in many cases, you will receive a refund more quickly.
If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions on how to return items from your order.
